Ali Eddy, Sawyer Brewing
Ali and her husband, Lee, have opened several businesses together including Sawyer Brewing, Sawyer Coffee Lab, KLYM Coffee + Waffle, a one-room cabin turned AirBnB, and currently raise Wagyu cattle. With a background in public accounting, Ali's forte is the behind-the-scenes work, sitting at her laptop and analyzing numbers. But as any businesswoman can confirm, she has had to step away from her office and be any piece to the puzzle on any given day. A typical day? Never heard of her! She can be found prepping pizza at Sawyer's taproom, packing cans at Sawyer's production facility, pulling shots at KLYM's drive thru, or cleaning the cabin for the next guests. While she can do a lot, she cannot do it all and highly, highly, highly values her team of over 50 employees who help keep these businesses running day in and day out. She loves an organized to-do list, a quick rip on her mountain bike, and an iced americano.
Erika Mount, Nerdy Nuts
Erika Mount is the co-founder of Nerdy Nuts, a peanut butter company she started in 2018 out of her garage in South Dakota. What began as a small side project quickly grew into a nationwide brand, now generating over $25 million in annual revenue and employing more than 100 team members.
A graduate of the University of South Dakota with a degree in Business Finance, Erika combines her entrepreneurial drive with her desire to bring families together. Under her leadership, Nerdy Nuts has shipped products to customers across the country while maintaining its roots in South Dakota.
Beyond business, Erika is a proud wife and mom of two. She’s passionate about building not only a successful company but also a workplace culture that supports creativity, family, and growth.
Kelsie Darling, Quik Signs
Kelsie is the fearless leader who saw an opportunity in 2009 to serve the Spearfish and surrounding communities with what Quik Signs is today. When Kelsie isn’t at her desk working on billing, responding to customers, and keeping the rest of the team in line you can find her volunteering on several different committees and boards. In her free time, Kelsie loves spending time in the sunshine with her family and friends—hiking, biking, gardening, and camping.
Sheryl Eisenbraun, Legends Suspension
My name is Sheryl Eisenbraun, and I am the General Manager at Legend Suspensions, a company proudly based in Sturgis, South Dakota. Legend Suspensions is a leader in the motorcycle industry, specializing in the design and manufacturing of premium front and rear aftermarket suspensions for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Before joining Legend, I spent 20 years in the banking industry, where I worked my way up to the role of Bank President. That experience gave me a strong foundation in leadership, operations, and customer service skills, Twelve years ago, I made the leap into a completely different field, and it has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my career. I now bring those skills I learned in the banking industry to the motorcycle industry.
I came to Legend with a strong business and finance background. Over the past 12 years, I have learned the mechanics of manufacturing and production planning, gaining valuable experience in how quality products move from design to assembly. This hands-on knowledge has been a rewarding complement to my leadership and customer service experience.
Born and raised in South Dakota, I take great pride in working for a company that manufactures and assembles products right here in SD. When I’m not at work, you’ll often find me enjoying the outdoors in the beautiful Black Hills.
Professional Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in business administration from BHSU, MBA from USD, Graduate Degree in Banking from Colorado School of Banking, and Lean Manufacturing Certification from SD MTS.
