The SD CEO West Women’s Business Center Outstanding Women in Business awards program is designed to highlight the impact of outstanding women entrepreneurs across the state.
Nominate successful South Dakota women entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs who have made a significant impact in business and whose actions exemplify savvy business acumen, integrity, compassion, and commitment to community.
Our awards committee will review all nominations and select the top three candidates as finalists for the awards ceremony on August 30 at the 11th Annual Women’s Business Summit at The Lodge at Deadwood. If your nominee is chosen as a finalist, you and the candidate will be notified via email.

Self-nominations will not be accepted. Nominations from fellow leaders in business, education or the non-profit world, business owners, members of the community, trade and professional organizations are welcome.

This woman: is a small business owner or majority owner; has a minimum of seven (7) years in business; demonstrates outstanding skill, commitment, and accomplishment while successfully navigating obstacles; and influences, mentors, and encourages others.

This woman: works for a public or private company, municipality, in higher education or a non-profit and has made significant contributions to her organization or industry; has a minimum of seven (7) years in her organization or industry; demonstrates outstanding skill, commitment, and accomplishment while successfully navigating obstacles; and influences, mentors, and encourages others.
This woman entrepreneur has created a successful business by demonstrating outstanding skill and commitment. She demonstrates leadership qualities in her community and/or industry.
