Jenn has worked as the Coordinator for Student Disability Services as well as the Coordinator of the Spearfish Testing Center at Black Hills State University (BHSU) since June of 2015. She completed her undergraduate studies at Northern State University in Sociology with emphases in Human Services and Gerontology with a minor in Psychology. Jenn went on to complete her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling also at Northern State University. She began her career at BHSU during a 1-year internship in the Counseling Center during the 2012-2013 academic year. Jenn believes in helping students identify their strengths to cultivate lives of meaning and purpose. She is passionate about helping students have equal opportunities to succeed in their collegiate experience and foster independence by discovering the individual tools to mitigate barriers. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her significant other and family (including their corgi Mischkie Lu), family game nights, bowling, and attempting the game of golf.
