“The Last DJ” is a radio show hosted by Tom Petty. Each week, a different voice takes to the airwaves to tell their own Petty story and play their five favorite tracks. Meeker’s favorite Petty songs will include “I Won’t Back Down,” “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around,” “Runnin’ Down a Dream,” “Here Comes My Girl,” and “I Need to Know.”

Meeker, a former disc jockey from the 80s, received a bachelor’s degree in speech with an emphasis in radio and television from BHSU. He was an on-air personality the first year KSQY hit the airwaves in 1982 and was inducted into the KBHU-FM, BHSU’s college radio station, Hall of Fame last fall. “I’ve always wanted an air shift on XM radio, so I guess I can check this one off the bucket list” said Meeker. “I also appreciate my college radio buddy, Jim Kallas, general manager at Riverfront Broadcasting, for allowing me to use their studio, and I also leaned on him for his producer skills,” he added.
