What is dual advisement?

Dual advisement is a partnership between two institutions to help you with registration, graduation, and with questions you might have about your professional program.  Dual advisement is for BHSU students who are preparing to apply to a WRHSC professional program partner, such as nursing or dental hygiene.  

• BHSU Advisor:  Your advisor at BHSU will still help you register for classes and make sure you're on track to graduate. 
• Professional Advisor:  Your advisor from your intended professional program will be able to answer any questions you have about preparing for their program, the application process, and career-specific questions.  Adding them as a dual advisor helps them advise you on how to make your professional application stronger.
